This past weekend was the first in about a month that I didn't have a block party or special church event, so it was kind of nice to relax during the weekend. One really cool thing about Brett is that if I work on the weekend, I take time off during the week to be with my family, so that's great, but it is nice just to be able to have some "normal" down time.
Anyway, I went to do Elvis last night at an assisted living home in Kennesaw. They enjoyed it. In my dressing room (aka the womens restroom), there was a scale. I've lost a little weight-like 10% of the total I need to lose, but it's a start (10% sounds better than 6 lbs.). Anyway, I'm on the way to a little less "elvis".
I have a web cam built into my laptop, but I can't figure out how to get it to work. Thanks to Windows Vista, I had to upgrade the OS when I bought the laptop, so that may be why it doesn't work. Anyway, I figured out the built in mic, so if I have your email address, I'm going to inundate you with emails with my voice files attached until I get bored with the mic, which should last about a week. It's kind of cool though. It's better than traditional, boring emails.
Less than 2 weeks until my race. I've been slack this week in the exercise and diet, so I've got to refocus on this thing!
Getting calls about the Tahoe. Thank you Jesus! Debt free, I'm on the way!!!
